Join Our Key Society

Donors on a Mission: Join our Key Society and become a sustaining partner in the fight to end homelessness!

At Pathways to Housing DC having the keys to a new home represents the end of homelessness for every individual that we support. But it also represents the beginning of a new journey.  The Key Society program is designed to reaffirm the value of sustaining support at the leadership level. We recognize the vital support of our most generous donors. Your contributions reduce people’s vulnerability to homelessness, help those currently experiencing homelessness, and transform the economic, and societal circumstances that allow homelessness to persist. As a Key Society member, your gift has a direct, immediate and sustaining effect.

Our generous Key Society member investments of $1,000 or more, each year for at least five years, means members of our community have the resources they need to open the door.

The Key Society is for individuals, foundations, and businesses who want to make a significant difference in the lives of DC’s most underserved population. Donations provide the sustainable support that Pathways to Housing DC needs to provide Home, Health, and Hope to our clients.

Give now, or get more information by contacting Lina Permut, Donor Relations Officer at 202-427-6750 or [email protected].

Pathways Brought Me Home

Mary, a Pathways client, was born in DC and dealt with sexual abuse from an uncle throughout her childhood and domestic violence from partners in her 20's. She used alcohol and marijuana to numb the pain of a lifetime of abuse and trauma. Mary was introduced to Pathways DC through a domestic violence shelter, and Pathways staff diagnosed Mary with HIV and bipolar disorder. The vulnerability of her situation allowed Mary’s team to quickly secure a housing voucher and within weeks they helped move Mary into her very own apartment. Mary told us, “I can honestly say that it was not until I received my keys that I felt true happiness. I would not have succeeded without the help of my “guiders,” (Mary’s term for her team at Pathways DC) because they always kept me on the right path and never gave up on me.” Today, with the help of her Pathways team, she has stability and is on the journey to recovery.
