Pathways to Housing DC is grateful to our many supporters   who put housing first and make recovery possible in the District of Columbia. Thank you for your generosity!

Pathways to Housing DC depends on your donations to fulfill its mission to provide housing first to people in the District of Columbia who are homeless and have mental illnessnes. We are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, and all donations are fully tax-deductible to the extent the law allows.

There are two ways to contribute to Pathways to Housing DC

Your donation will have a direct impact on the lives of formerly homeless individuals.  Here are some ways your support will be put to use:

  $30                     Rental application fee for 1 individual obtaining an apartment.

  $50                     Cell phone service for 1 month for the emergency On-Call

phone for clients to reach the service team 24 hrs/day, 7 days/week

  $100                  Emergency food assistance for 2 weeks for a person moving from

                                                the street into their own apartment while awaiting benefits.

          $200                   One months’ worth of bus tokens to assist clients get to job interviews,  

medical appointments, and GED classes.

  $300                  Household items (sheets, comforter, towels, pots & pans, silverware,

                                 shower curtains,  etc.) for a person moving from the street into their own

                                 apartment.

  $800                  Complete furnishings (bedroom set, living room set,  and kitchen set) 

                                                for one individual moving from the street into their own apartment.
